Carole Baum, Bowling Green

Carole Baum of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, January 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on February 14, 1943, in Defiance, Ohio, she spent her early years in Indiana before moving to Kentucky with her husband, Robert Allen Baum. A longtime Warren County resident, Carole was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and deep devotion to her family and faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Allen Baum, in 2000, and her daughter, Kristina Lynne Hoffman of Glasgow, Kentucky, in 2008.

She is survived by her children, Jack Adair Baum of Clermont, Florida, and Joy Howard of Bowling Green, Kentucky; her sisters, Nancy Jones and Connie Walkup Hull; her son-in-law, Roland Hoffman of Glasgow, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Jackson Baum (son of Jack and Laura Baum); Alexis Shehan and Chandler Baum (children of Joy and Tim Howard); and Timothy Saba-Hoffman and his husband, Lucas, Elizabeth Hoffman, and Stephen Hoffman and his wife, Shelby (children of Kristina and Roland Hoffman). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Carole was a faithful member of Rich Pond Baptist Church and cherished her church family. Her legacy of love, faith, and devotion to family will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Visitation will be Tuesday January 6, 2026 from 4 to 8 p.m. at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel and Wednesday morning from 10 until 11 a.m. at the Richpond Baptist Church.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday January 7, 2026 at 11 a.m. at the church.
