Each week, WCLU and Arrow Safety — Glasgow’s safety compliance experts supporting local youth, schools, and our community—will honor an outstanding student-athlete as the WCLU Student-Athlete of the Week.

Name: Ian Parocai School: Glasgow High School Sports: Soccer, Track Narrative: Ian Parocai is a senior soccer player at Glasgow High School. He also has run track and cross country during his high school career. His nomination form stated, "Gives 110%"

Barren county Sport: Football Narrative: Ethan works hard on the field and in the off season. He has great grades and most of all he sets a good example for other student athletes through his Christian behavior and kindness to others.

Griffin Jackson -- WCLU Athlete of the Week, presented by Arrow Safety
Name: Griffin Jackson School: Glasgow High School Sports: Golf, Basketball Narrative: Griffin Jackson is one of the top golfers in the region. He opened the 2026 season by finishing second in the Trojan Cup, and has since won a couple of tournaments. This past week he shot a 65 to win the Boys 2A Section 2 Tournament.
