HORSE BRANCH, Ky. (August 1, 2023)— The Kentucky State Police has been requested by the Ohio County Sheriff’s Department to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred in Ohio County at approximately 7:05 p.m. on Monday July 31st, 2023.
KSP Post 16 (Henderson) Troopers and Detectives responded to the scene and the investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
A male subject was transported to Skyline Hospital in Nashville, where he was later pronounced deceased.
