12-6-2012- Three Citizens join the Cave City Hall of Fame – Hampton Reynolds, Roger Proffitt and Lerond Reynolds.

Chip Jenkins is named Director of Transportation for Barren County Schools.

Fans were welcomed into the new Scottie Gym on November 19th.

Caverna Family Resource/Youth Service and Cave City Police deliver food during Thanksgiving to the local community.

12-13-2012- Roger B Proffitt is honored by the Cave City Council. He served as Mayor and postmaster . He passed away on December 4th.

Scotties open the season with a 59-41 win over the Maribymong Jets, an Australian high school team on tour in the United States.

Glasgow School Board names Craig Cassady as the new Athletic Director and honors retirees, Ann Howell, Nancy Burch, and Board Member LaDonna Rogers.

The Hiseville High School Class of 1962 held their class reunion September 22 with 35 of the 49 original classmates attending.

Barren County School Board honors Glenna Gardner as Classified Employee of the month, Jamie Poland, Certified Employee of the month and Matthew Poore as student of the month.

Caverna Colonels, undefeated in district play, has four senior leaders, Joel Davis, Tyrone Franklin, George Boyd and Aaron Reed.
