Mary Catherine Thompson, 75 daughter of the late Odie Lee & Alma Louise Thompson passed away peacefully at her home on October 9, 2021 after a hard fought, 12 year battle with lung cancer.
Mary Catherine was admired for her courage, strength, kindness, fairness and honesty. She was the best mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her most. She will be forever in our hearts.
Besides her parents Mary Catherine was preceded in death by her son Michael Ray Sullivan, her older brother, Charles Lee Thompson an older younger brother, Jimmy Ray Thompson.
Mary Catherine is survived by her daughters Tanya Danette Veitschegger & husband Rodney and Beth Danielle Crump & husband Josh. She is also survived by four loving grandchildren Lauren Page Blair, Joshua Dan Crump. Jon Michael Crump and Jake Ryan Crump, as well as her younger sister Kimberly Sue Thompson.
Funeral services for Mary Catherine Thompson will be 2pm Wednesday, Oct. 13th in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Munfordville Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8pm and after 10am Wednesday at the Sego Funeral Home.
