Gregory Shannon, 65, of Bowling Green, Ky passed away on August 4, 2026 at his residence.
Greg was born on January 7, 1961 to the late Arthur Tubby Sanderson and Virginia Ruth Shannon. He found Christ at an early age and was baptized and a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. Later in life he attended St. Stephens Radcliff where he also served on the janitorial staff.
Greg enjoyed fishing, doing yard work, painting, playing cards and listening to music. He loved spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Virginia Gayle Shannon Nuckols.
He leaves to cherish his memories brothers, Micheal Sanderson, Russell Sanderson and Terry Shannon; sister Bonita Michelle Shoaga; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
Hayes Brothers Funeral Home Glasgow assisted the family with all arrangements.
