Anthony Wayne “Tony” Wright, was born into this life on December 9, 1969 and left it on July 13, 2026. He believed life on earth was an opportunity to love and be loved. He lived that in the largest and smallest of ways each day.
He adored his family: his wife, Rachelle; his daughters, Jamilyn Adehl Wood (Dylan) and Dara Jo Wright (Jake); his son, Wayne Lucus Wright (Sydney); and his grandchildren, Jebediah Lynn Wood, Ellie Jo Wood, and Penny Rue Wright.
He was forever grateful to his parents, James and Laverne Wright, and Rachelle’s parents, Gerald and Jean Holt, for the anchoring foundation they provided.
Throughout his life, he was many things, but if he were writing this today, he would want us to simply remember him as someone who strived to live justly, love mercy, and walk humbly.
The family will welcome all from 4:00- 7:00 PM CT on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Brooks Funeral Home.
