Ryan Lee Druen, age 52 of Munfordville, KY, passed away on May 29, 2026 at U of L Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church in Sonora, KY. He attended services and was very active at the Faith Independent Church in Hardyville, KY. He was a Member of the Gavel Masonic Lodge #570 F & AM. He was a dedicated firefighter with the Elizabethtown Fire Department for 24 years. He enjoyed playing croquet with his fellow firefighters, as well as hunting and fishing.
He is the son of Rodney and Joyce Druen of Sonora, KY.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Chris Druen; his grandparents, Melvin and Kathryn Druen.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife Melinda Caswell Druen, Munfordville, KY; his two children, Ashley Reynolds, Horse Cave, KY and Riley Druen, Munfordville, KY; two grandchildren, Jayden and Journey Jaggers, Horse Cave, KY; one brother, Adam Druen; his two aunts, Tammy Smith (Uncle Tim), Rineyville, KY, and Millie Druen (Gary Allen), Elizabethtown, KY; Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive
The family will welcome friends from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM CT on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Central Hardin High School in Cecilia, KY. Then again from 10:00 AM- 8:00 PM CT, on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Brooks Funeral Home in Munfordville, KY. On Thursday, June 4, 2026, visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 AM CT,at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM CT with Bro. Joey Sexton officiating. Burial with Masonic Rights will follow in the Munfordville Municipal Cemetery.
