Norma Jean Renfro Glass Williams, 92, Glasgow, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026 at the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late William Neal Renfro and Mamie B. Hodges Renfro.
Working alongside Steve Brown, Norma helped to establish the Barren County Health Care Center in Glasgow where she continued to be employed as a dietician for many years. During her free time, she enjoyed going on trail rides with her husband Clifton Williams; riding in the wagon and furnishing ham & biscuits for the other riders. She hated to see anyone go hungry.
Survivors include two sons: Dennis E. Glass of Bon Ayr and Ricky Glass and his wife Glenna of Glasgow; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands: Herman E. Glass and Clifton R. Williams; and one sister, Marjorie Coulter and her husband Cecil.
The family has honored her request to be cremated. A private burial service will be held later. Arrangements entrusted to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
