Jackie Harrison Adams, 72, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Sunday, January 18, at Signature Health Care of Monroe County.
Jackie was born in Tompkinsville, KY on March 21, 1953, a son of the late Lola Belle (Hutcherson) and Earbie Adams.
On October 3, 1970, he married the love of his life, Sallie Marolynn (Parke) Adams, who preceded him in death on January 15, 2023.
He served on the Monroe County Volunteer Fire Department for over 25 years.
Jackie is survived by two daughters, Kathy Ford (Michael) of Tompkinsville, KY; Lorrie Kelton (Johnny), of Tompkinsville, KY; and a son, Bradley Adams, of Tompkinsville, KY; grandchildren, Jordan Adams (Erin), Brandie Copeland, Mandie Adams, Adam Kelton (Courtland Paige), Clara Paige Kelton, Julie Phillips (Clint), Sarah Sells (Luke); great grandchildren, Autumn and JT Adams, Gabriel Blythe, River Dale and Briar Phillips.
Jackie is also survived by a sister, Marie Humes, of Tompkinsville, KY; two brothers, Morris Adams, of Tompkinsville, KY; Doyle Adams (Patty), of Bowling Green, KY; sister-in-law, Wanda Adams, and several nieces and nephews.
Other than his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Scott Adams; sister, Shirley Ford; two brothers, Darrell and Joe Adams; brothers-in-laws, Mitchell Ford, Jesse James Humes and sister-in-law, Sherrie Adams.
Funeral services will be at Yokley Trible Funeral Home on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 1 p.m, with burial to follow at Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, and 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jackie’s memory may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses.
