Henry Lewis “Popa” Weaver, 80, of Adolphus, KY passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Scottsville, KY native was a farmer, a retired employee of Imperial Fabricating, former employee of Allen County Road Department and member of Robert’s Tabernacle Church of God of Prophecy. He was a son of the late John Wesley Weaver and Lillie Mae Tinsley Weaver.
He is survived by his wife: Joyce Weaver, Adolphus, KY;
5 sons: John Weaver; Jake Weaver and wife, Braxton, all of Scottsville, KY; James Weaver and Sam Weaver, both of Adolphus, KY and Barry Weaver and wife, Jean, Lafayette, TN;
2 daughters: Lori Shaw, Scottsville, KY and Crystal Weaver, Bowling Green, KY;
3 brothers: James “Boss” Weaver; Dewey Weaver and wife, Glenda, all of Scottsville, KY; Gene Weaver and wife, Jan, Adolphus, KY;
3 sisters: Margie DeHart, Elwood, IN; Betty Grimes and husband, W.E., Bowling Green, KY; Sue Cook and husband, Lessie B., Adolphus, KY;
18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law: Wendy Weaver; 1 sister: Madine Brooks and 3 brothers: Bill Weaver, Joe Weaver and infant, Samuel Weaver.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Shrum officiating and burial in Walkers Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday and after 7:00 A.M. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses or Walkers Chapel Cemetery. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
