Glathey Elizabeth Strode, 86, of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Friday, October 1st, peacefully, at Monroe County Medical Center.
Glathey was born in Monroe County, KY on February 1, 1935, a daughter of the late Eunice Marie Vibbert and Joe Jefferson Copas. She was a homemaker & of the Pentecostal faith.
Glathey is survived by son, William Haden Strode Jr., of Tompkinsville, KY, 4 grandchildren, Jeremy Joe, Jason Wayne & Elizabeth Ann Copas & Crystal Nichole Steffey, 17 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandchild, three sisters, Joyce Pedigo, of Tompkinsville, KY; Sue Stewart, of Tompkinsville, KY; Betty Pennington, of Tompkinsville, KY. three brothers, Virgil Copas, of Tompkinsville, KY; Roy Copas, of Tompkinsville, KY; Freddie Copas, of Tompkinsville, KY.
Her Parents, husband, William Haden Strode Sr., daughter, Donna Jo Copas Daniels, brothers, David, Charlie & Gary Copas, sister, Stella JoAnn Price & 1 grandchild, Katrina Kay Copas Craig preceded her in death.
Funeral Service will be held 1 PM on Tuesday, October 5th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, Joe Botts will officiate.
Visitation will be held 9 AM to 1 PM on Tuesday, October 5th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY.
Burial: Basil Cemetery.
