Oneil Nash

Oneil Nash, 90, of Bowling Green passed away at 6:30 PM Sept. 29, 2020 at his home.

The Edmonson County native was farmer, a preacher for 61 years at various churches of Christ, a teacher for 31 years at Sunfish Elementary, Caneyville Jr. High and other Edmonson and Grayson County Schools and a member of Richardsville Church of Christ. He was the son of the late Ernest G. Nash and Alma Lucille Bolton Nash. He was preceded in death by a sister, Veda Mauzy.

Funeral services will be private. Public visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday and 11:00 AM-1:00 PM Friday at Gravil Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Big Reedy Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Katy Dalton Nash; three sons, Roger Dale Nash (Lavana) of Bee Spring, Paul Lesley Nash (Melody) of Bowling Green and Nathan Neil Nash (Melinda) of Shepherdsville; two sisters, Myrna Irvin of Louisville and Carolyn Webb (James Cecil) of Bowling Green; six grandchildren, Lesley Anderson (Marshall), Brittney Jones (Chris) Taylor Oneil Nash, Paul Spencer Nash, Katherine Oneil Jenkins (Joshua) and Nathaniel Wade Nash (Angela); and six great grandchildren.
