Mr. Sam Paul Beck, age 82, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Signature Healthcare of Monroe. Sam was born in Cumberland County on May 8, 1944, the son of the late Clarence and Ada Collins Beck. Sam spent most of his life in the logwoods, and farming. He was a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church, and enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting.
Sam is survived by his children, Tony King and wife Edna of Glasgow, Beth Hutcherson and husband Brad of Tompkinsville, Eddie King and wife Serena, Joyce York and husband Kevin both of Glasgow, Timmy King of Bowling Green, and Charles King and wife Annette of Glasgow, one brother, Webb Beck of Indiana, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
In addition to his parents, his stepmother, Stacy Beck he was preceded in death by his wife, Charles Ann (Wisdom) Beck, one son, Junior Beck, three brothers, Victor, Paul and Robert Beck, one sister, Thelma McPhail, stepsister, Lavonna Deckard, and one stepdaughter, Tammy King.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. Gary Emberton will officiate the service.
Visitation will be held after 10:00 a.m. until the service time at 1 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
