Daryl Edwards, age 60 of Bonnieville, KY, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the Medical Center at Caverna. He was a heavy equipment mechanic and operator. He was a former employee of Glass Aggregates, Scotty’s, and Hinckle. He enjoyed bass fishing with his best friend, Timmy Thompson, and he always looked forward to the upcoming season. He loved to serve the Lord and was a born-again Christian.
He was the son of the late Francis Sidwell Edwards.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Edwards, and his uncles, Richard and Cecil Edwards.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Stanetta Edwards, Bonnieville, KY; his daughter, Merandia Johnson; one granddaughter, Trinity Johnson; a brother-in-law, Shawn Wallace; and many friends also survive.
The family will welcome friends from 4:00- 8:00 PM CT on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, and again from 8:00- 11:00 AM CT on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CT on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Eaton officiating. Burial will follow at the Daryl Edwards Family Cemetery.
