Dean Martin, age 81, of Horse Cave, passed away on Tuesday, February 03, 2026, at his home. He worked for 44 years as a manager at Square Deal Lumber Company. Dean loved antique tractors, woodworking, and was an avid UK fan. In recent years, he enjoyed spending time at his cabin and loved watching wildlife.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Martin, and Kate Taylor Martin; four siblings, Bobby Martin, Tommy Martin, Mary Ann Sproull, and Carroll Martin.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Martha Jeffries Martin; two daughters, Karen Martin Riney, and Shana Martin Puckett (Brandon); three grandchildren, Will Riney, Drew Riney, and Kate Riney; one brother, Tony Martin; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 08, 2026, at 2:00PM, at Winn Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 08, 2026, from 10:00AM until the time of the service at 2:00PM.
