Faydell Skaggs Nunn, age 85 of Magnolia, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Signature Healthcare of Hart County. She is a member of Three Forks Bacon Creek Baptist Church and retired from Louisville Bedding as a binder after 33 years.
She is a daughter of the late Rev. Leland T. Skaggs and the late Mary Elizabeth Druen Skaggs.
She is preceded in death by her sisters, Naomi Bailey and Doris Bailey; her brothers, Tom, Howard, and William “Buzz” Skaggs.
She is survived by her four children, Timmy Nunn (Brenda), Marshall Nunn (Susie), Rebecca Talley (D.L.) and Karen Jaggers (Aaron); she was a Mamaw to, Amanda Nunn, Adam Nunn, Austin Nunn, Katie Logsdon, David Middleton, Dewayne Middleton, James Nunn, Rachele Talley, Dana Jaggers, and Miranda Braden and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family will welcome friends from 4:00- 8:00 PM CT on Saturday, October 4, 2026 and again on Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM CT at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Talley and Bro. Jeremy Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
