There were many awards delivered to Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Services personnel during the second annual Rise & Respond Awards ceremony.
“The event was created to honor the EMS professionals who faithfully serve our community during its most critical moments,” according to a press release from event organizers — Samantha Wilson of Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, Brooke Weir of Home Towne Settlement Services, and Kristy Fuller of Fuller Life Counseling.
It was hosted by them at T.J. Health Pavilion Community Center in Glasgow on Friday morning.
“We are incredibly grateful for the dedication, sacrifice, and compassion shown by these EMS professionals each day. Thank you for helping us celebrate and recognize the individuals who continue to make a lasting impact throughout our community,” the press release stated.
