William Paul Barrick, 66, of Merry Oaks, Kentucky, died peacefully at his home on Friday, September 26, 2025. He was born on November 1, 1958 to Marvis and Jane Barrick in Warren County, Kentucky.
He was a graduate of Oral Roberts University, and after living in Southwest Florida for a few decades, he returned to his hometown in Merry Oaks to live with his wife Rubi and continue to work at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. He was an active member of his community, wherever he lived, and gave back in many ways, especially as a consistent blood donor.
He leaves to honor his memory— his wife, Rubi Barrick and six stepchildren, Cinthia, Aurora, Katherine, Fiollera, Emily and Christian; his children, Brandon Barrick (wife Kari) and Audra Bickford (husband Ward); his grandchildren, Luther and Edison Bickford; his siblings, Fred Bullock (wife Gloria), Mark Barrick (wife Marilyn) and Ann Young and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date. In the meantime, we ask that you keep William and his family in your thoughts, and remember the incredible impact he left on this world. Patton Funeral Home, Park City Chapel in charge of arrangements.
