The Caverna Board of Education will have its next meeting on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 5 p.m. at the Caverna Central Office.
The agenda includes oaths of office, superintendent reports on student and staff recognitions, and the approval of consent items such as board minutes, financial reports, bus inspections, and grant updates.
The board will also conduct a second reading of updated special education procedures and consider “surplusing” nine high school lunchroom tables and two meat slicers.
Additional matters include hiring an architectural firm to develop plans for a new tennis court, approving stipends for teachers participating in after-school professional learning projects, and discussing the Comprehensive District Improvement Plan.
Discussions on roofing projects, district needs assessments, bonding capacity, and the school resource officer plan for the 2025-26 school year are also scheduled.
The meeting is open to the public.
