David Payton, age 85 of Glasgow, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Tri-Star Medical Center in Nashville,TN. He was born in West Virginia and a memeber at Refuge Church. He was a faithful christian, a long time member of the NRA, and loved guns.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Jean Payton; his parents, Alfred Payton and Christine Payton; two brothers, Arthur Payton, Don Payton; one sister Jo Carol Tollison.
He is survived by his daughter, Carol Medley (Mike); his son, Joe D. Payton; four grandchildren, Gage Wilson, Sydne Medley, Kamn Robertson, Xander Robertson; one brother, Norman Payton.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Winn Funeral Home, with burial to follow there.
