Ms. Nancy Janes, age 84 of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
Nancy was born March 20, 1940 in Glasgow, KY to the late Paul Jolly and the late Marie Morrison Jolly. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Philip Jolly, and daughter-in-law, Lisa Janes.
She is survived by her two sons, Brad Janes of Bowling Green, KY and Chris Janes (Krista) of Crestwood, KY; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Landon Janes; cousin, Leslie Sarasin; niece, Charlotte Hudson Chaffin and her caretaker Kayla Moore.
Nancy attended Hillvue Heights Church and retired from Powerlight Electric Company after nearly twenty years. She enjoyed planting flowers and spending time with her grandchildren.
The family has entrusted J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel with arrangements.
Funeral services for Nancy Janes are scheduled to be conducted on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 1:00pm with burial in Bowling Green Gardens.
Visitation with the family will begin on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 4:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Thursday at 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm.
