Russell E. Head of Knob Lick, Kentucky, son of the late William Earl Head and Loretta M. Bailey Johnson, was born on Friday, May 7, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois and departed this life on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at Baptist Health Hardin. He was 61 years, 3 months, and 18 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and worked as a tree trimmer.
He was united in marriage to Carolyn Parnell Head on February 24, 1994, who preceded him in death on December 15, 2023.
Survivors include three daughters: Alaura Keen of Scottsville, Rachel Childress of Magnolia, Bethany Head of Cave City; one son: William Head of Bowling Green; eleven grandchildren: Skyler, Aubrey, Macie, Liam, River, Kendall, Ariell, Kainen, Kennedy, Annalise, Adaline; two siblings: Pamela Walters and Lesslie Johnson both of Indiana; a special friend: Denise of Knob Lick; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
There will be a graveside service conducted at 12 Noon, Central Time, Saturday, August 29, 2026 at the Muriel-Bailey Cemetery in Metcalfe County. Bro. Kenny Parnell officiating.
