Charles B. Harrison, 80, entered Heaven on Monday, August 24, 2026. Charlie was born in Mud Lick, Kentucky. He was a son of the late Clifton Harrison and Ila Mae Spears Harrison. He was a twin brother to Thomas Harrison and he was the oldest of six children. He married in 1973 and made his home in Browder, Kentucky. He worked over 25 years as a bus driver for the Muhlenberg County Board of education. He also competed in bus rodeos and was Kentucky state winner several times and was the winner at the national rodeo once. He also worked as a custodian, farm hand and a mail man; also as an escort driver to mention a few jobs.

Charles was ordained as a deacon by Forrest Grove Missionary Baptist Church. When the family changed location, Charles continued to be an active deacon. He was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Elrod Road, Bowling Green, Kentucky.

He attended many schools and graduated from Temple Hill with stories to share about the Bull Dogs. He then entered WKU, and then the red towel would interlace his stories. Charlie loved all people. He especially loved Muhlenberg County Academic teams. He was out with the team most Fridays and Saturdays.

Charles is survived by three sons: Dr. Christopher Ryan Harrison (Dr. Rebecca Harrison), Corey Brent Harrison (Victoria Harrison) and Casey Brad Harrison (Tracey Harrison); seven grandchildren: Madison Paige, Catherine Elizabeth, Joseph Samuel, Carolyn Rose, Christopher Isaiah, William Shawn Bobby and Victor Dameon Reed; two sisters: Sue Ann Walker (James) and Velma Lou Coffing; one brother: Thomas L. Harrison (Diane); long time special friend: Tim Meadow; several nieces and nephews and several in-laws, relatives, and many friends scattered throughout Kentucky.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Olis Harrison and Olmer Harrison; one daughter: Angela Mae Harrison; one forever granddaughter: Angel Nevaeh Harrison; one brother-in-law: Ted Coffing.

Funeral will be 12:00 p.m. noon Saturday August 29, 2026 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral with burial in the Forrest Grove Cemetery in Browder, Kentucky.

Visitation will be after 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time for services.
