Charles Robert “Boo Boo” Bryant, age 66, passed away on June 29, 2026, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was born on June 12, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Betty May Denson and James Sidney Bryant. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife, Benita Lynn Hurt Bryant; his son, Mikey Key; and his sister, Linda Bryant.
Charles proudly served his country in the National Guard. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to his family and community. In his spare time, “Boo Boo” enjoyed a good game of pool and, most of all, spending time with the people he loved. His family meant everything to him, and his loss will be felt deeply by all who knew and loved him.
Charles is survived by his children, Brandon Key, Charles (Misty) Bryant, Karea May Key, and Krista (Robert) Molloy; his grandchildren, Andrew Bryant, Audra Knight, Berto Monge, Brendon Roach, Cameron Urrutia, Diego Monge, Elianna Monge, Hattie Helson, Jasmyn Sturgeon, Jaylee Sturgeon, Joseph Sturgeon, Katelyn Bryant, Michael Sturgeon, and Tyler Molloy; Several great grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Carolyn Nethery, James Bryant, Juanita Mosley, Mary Bryant, and Richard Smith; and a host of friends and loved ones.
Services will be held on July 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at J. C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel. Burial will follow at Bowling Green Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to J. C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel.
