Jun 15, 2026 | 8:55 AM

Robert Allen Craine, age 73, of Bon Ayr, peacefully departed this life on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Hospice House in Bowling Green, Kentucky. A native of Barren County, Robert was born on July 15, 1952, to the late Henry and Lettie Pedigo Craine. He shared a loving and devoted marriage with his wife, Sue Parker Craine, who remains to cherish his memory.

Robert retired as a supervisor from Lord Corporation after many years of dedicated service. He was a member of Cedar Springs United Baptist Church and was admired by those who knew him for his strong work ethic, generous spirit, and willingness to help others . He found great satisfaction in restoring old cars and repairing lawnmowers, pursuits that reflected his mechanical skill and patience. Robert also took pride in caring for the grounds and cemetery at Bon Ayr Church, quietly serving his community through his dedication and stewardship.

More than anything, Robert enjoyed being around people. Whether sharing a conversation with a friend, helping a neighbor with a project, or simply offering a kind word, he had a genuine way of making others feel welcome and valued. His humble nature, caring spirit, and sincere interest in others earned him the respect and friendship of many throughout his life.

In addition to his beloved wife, Sue, he leaves to honor and cherish his memory— his sisters, Jean Owens (Leroy) of Cave City and Billie Cheryl Daniels of Park City; brothers-in-law, Bill Parker of Bon Ayr and Mark Anthony Parker of Bowling Green; and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his beloved son, Michael Allen Craine; his sister, Janice Daniels; and his brother-in-law, Doug Parker.

The Graveside service will be 11 AM, Monday, June 15, 2026 at Bon Ayr Cemetery.
