Evelyn M. Timperman Crimmins, 92, of Louisville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 15, 2026.
She was born on August 31, 1933 in Louisville to the late Clara Rosalie “Rose” Jacobi Timperman and Charles W. Timperman.
She was a member of St. Martha Catholic Church and the Altar Society. Evelyn was an avid card player, playing Bridge, Euchre, and Pinochle at Ascension Catholic Church, St. Agnes Catholic Church, Jeffersontown Senior Citizens Center, as well as many other places; also enjoyed going to Derby City Gaming. She loved to stay active and busy, meeting many friends wherever she went.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Patrick Lee Crimmins; brothers, Joseph and Raymond Timperman; and sisters, Anne Kruer, Loraine Zoeller, and Mary Rose Loeffler.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Pam Costelle (Steve); granddaughter, Maggie Casey (Zach); great granddaughter, Iris Casey; siblings, Viola Eve, Charles Timperman (Jo Ann), Bernard Timperman (Jeanette), and Martha Kelsey (Charles); many loving nieces, nephews, other loving family members, and friends.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026 at St. Martha Catholic Church 2825 Klondike Lane with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home 3800 Bardstown Road.
At Evelyn’s request, in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Martha Catholic Church or Hosparus.
