Steven Ray Alexander, 74, passed away on January 14, 2026, in Bonnieville,Kentucky.

Born on July 23, 1951, Steven dedicated his life to craftsmanship as a skilled carpenter. His hands built more than just structures — they shaped a life rooted in hard work and devotion to those around him.

Steven is lovingly remembered by his son Nick Walts and daughter Catrinia Burk (Nick); five grandchildren: Sierra Fox, Destiny Alexander, Isabella Walts, Trenton Alexander, and Maddan Alexander Caswell. He also leaves behind three brothers: David Alexander (Donna Davis), Jerry Alexander (Carla), and James Alexander; four sisters: Judy Cissell, Debbie Harris (Sam), Brenda Ernspiker (Ernie), and Kim Ray (Joe); and his partner Robin Meredith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Alexander and Jewel Stuart.

Steven found joy in the outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing, spending time in nature whenever he could. A fan of westerns and shooting sports, he embraced a rugged spirit that matched his love for open skies and quiet woods. Above all else, he cherished time with his children and grandchildren.

A celebration of Steven’s life will be Monday, January 19 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to gather beginning at 11 a.m. that day until the time of service at the funeral home.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and carry forward the strength and warmth he shared throughout his life.
