Cathleen Priddy Carby left this earth on Monday, November 3, 2025 at her home in Upton, Kentucky. Cathleen was a hair dresser in Upton and Munfordville for 15 years. She completed her life as a homemaker. She was saved as a little girl at Nolin and was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
She was a daughter of the late Russell Priddy and Beatrice Beeler Priddy. She is preceded in death by her sister , Delorse Priddy Mabe.
Survivors include her husband, Glennie Carby of Upton; children Lucas Carby (Leah) of Cub Run, Halie Whobrey of Upton, Jayna Thompson (Brandon) of Eastview, and David Whobrey of Upton; seven grandchildren, Eli Thompson, Camden Thompson, Kobie
Thompson, Knox Carby, Raylan Whobrey, Ryker Whobrey, and Bexley Carby; siblings, Thomas Priddy (Loretta), Tammy Jo
Walters (Quinn), and brother in law Joelie Mabe, all of Upton.
The funeral service will be held at 11am CST Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Sego Funeral Home in Munfordville, with Brother Phillip Knight officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation is from 3pm to 8pm CST Wednesday and continues Thursday at 9am CST at Sego Funeral Home.
