Chris Hawks, age 49 of Scottsville, departed this life on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at The Medical Center of Bowling Green.  The Edmonson County native was born on September 7, 1972 to Garnia Hawks and the late Martha Bledsoe Hawks.  He was married to his childhood sweetheart, Betty Ann Lindsey Hawks, who survives.

Chris worked as a maintenance group leader at Bendix Corporation.  In his spare time, he was a ham radio operator and an avid fisherman.   He was a member of South Allen Volunteer Fire Department and Pleasant Grove “Miller Hill” Missionary Baptist Church. 

He leaves to honor his memory– his wife, Betty Ann Lindsey Hawks of Scottsville; son, Matthew Hawks of Bowling Green and daughter, Sarah Hawks of Scottsville; step-son, Tyler Moon of Pine Grove; step-daughter, Courtney Moon of Bowling Green; father, Garnia Hawks (Joan) of Scottsville; four brothers, Kelly Hawks (Laura), Jason Hawks, Andy Hawks and Ronald Hawks all of Scottsville; an aunt, Rebecca Landers (Don) and two nieces, Lauren Hawks and Emily Hawks.  He was also preceded in death by several aunts and uncles. 

Interment will be in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
