Julia Ann Luttrell, 80, of Big Reedy passed away at 2:38 PM Sunday Dec. 12, 2021 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was a retired seamstress, as well as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and caregiver. She was a daughter of the late Claudius Robert Woosley and Glida Elizabeth Tomes Woosley and the wife of the late Kelly Luttrell. She was preceded in death by a sister, June Dwyer and another infant sister.
Surviving are a daughter, Renee Slaughter of Big Reedy; two sons, Wes Slaughter (Gloria) and Ruston Slaughter both of Big Reedy; a step daughter, Terry Cosby (Steve) of Bowling Green; three grandchildren, Whitney Lewis (James), Riley Slaughter and Sophia Slaughter; a great grandchild, River Lewis; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday at Mt. Pleasant Cumberland Prebyterian Church, where she was a member and custodian, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will take place 4-8 PM Wednesday and 10:00 AM-12:00 PM Thursday at Gravil Funeral Home.
