When it comes to COVID-19 protocols, Barren County Schools say their HVAC systems now include pi-polar ionization which helps remove viruses and bacteria from the air and classrooms and common areas will be cleaned daily.
Masks will be required on buses for all students in grades 1-12 due to the federal mandate. They will NOT required in other settings but Barren County Schools strongly recommends masking up, especially those who are unvaccinated.
If you do not have any masks, they will be provided.
Social distancing of three feet will be maintained wherever possible and the district will be hosting vaccination clinics.
Anyone who presented COVID-19 symptoms or is running a fever should stay home.
