James Jerome Franklin, age 64, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away Thursday,
November 4, 2021, at his brother’s residence in Horse Cave, KY.
He was the son of the late James “Smokey” Franklin and the late Carrie Mae
Bell Franklin.
He is survived by one daughter, Francedia McGinnis, Bowling Green, KY; two
sons, James Santillis Franklin (Denise), Franklin, KY, Cortez Franklin
(Carrie), Louisville, KY; four sisters, Mary Ann Ford, Horse Cave, KY,
Carolyn Faulkner (Minister Daryl), Munfordville, KY, Joyce Allen, Glasgow,
KY, Betty Jean Hayes, Cave City, KY; two brothers, Roy Reed, Horse Cave,
KY, Larry Reed, TN; 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, one uncle,
William Hall, several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM CT, Tuesday,
November 9, 2021 and from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM CT, Tuesday, November 9,
2021 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM CT,
Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Brooks Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Rowlett
and Rev. Waner Fishback officiating. Interment will be at Bearwallow
Cemetery, Horse Cave, KY.
