Mr. Tyrone Grooms, age 46, of Tompkinsville died Thursday, November 4, 2021. Tyrone was born on December 2, 1975, the son of the late Virginia Sue Grooms. He was a 1994 graduate of the Monroe County High School, a member of Milltown Baptist Church, and enjoyed tattoo artistry.
He is survived by his Fiancée, Brandy Jade Copas of Tompkinsville, two children; Tylan and Brantyn Grooms, both of Tompkinsville; one sister, Sherre Grooms, one niece; Serenity Grooms, both of Bowling Green, Uncles and Father Figures; Marshall Whitlow, Charles Lee Grooms, and Harold Grooms, several cousins and a host of friends also survive.
In addition to his mother, Virginia Sue Grooms, he was preceded in death by a son; Dominic Grooms, his grandmother; Clarine Grooms, uncles; Michael and Mitchell whitlow, and Fred C. Grooms, Ann Shirley, and one niece Ashton Grooms.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021, at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial to follow in the Bushong Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses. Those may be mailed to Bartley & Sons, 204 Columbia Avenue, Tompkinsville, KY 42167.
