The Kentucky Department of Education has released school report card data. Assessments were administered to Kentucky students during the spring of 2021 which was required by the US Department of Education. The primary purpose of continuing with state testing was to determine the academic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Student scores across the state were lower compared to non-COVID years. A link to the Kentucky Department of Education School Report Card site follows: https://www.kyschoolreportcard.com/home?year=2021
KY School Report Cards do not include trend data and comparisons because state assessments were not administered in the 2019-2020 school year due to COVID-19.
