Shoplifting complaint leads to multiple drug arrests

GLASGOW, Ky – On Tuesday, August 24, the Glasgow Police Department responded to Walmart in reference to a shoplifting complaint.

Officers made contact with Brittany Watson and Donnie Gregory in the parking lot and received consent to a search. Officers confirmed they had exited the store with unpaid items and all of the stolen items were returned to Walmart.  Officers received a consent to search of the vehicle and located Hydrocodone, Methamphetamine and syringes.

Brittany Watson of Portland TN., was arrested and charged with:

  • 1st Degree Possession Control Substance, 1st Offense (Hydrocodone)
  • 1st Degree Possession Control Substance, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
  • Prescription Control Substance Not In Proper Container, 1st Offense
  • Possession Drug Paraphernalia

Donnie Lee Gregory Jr. of Old Hickory TN., was arrested and charged with:

  • 1st Degree Possession Control Substance, 1st Offense (Hydrocodone)
  • Prescription Control Substance Not In Proper Container, 1st Offense
  • Possession Drug Paraphernalia
  • Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition, Shoplifting

The arrest was made by Sgt. Wesley Hicks and Officer Josh Hardin.
