Teresa Riley Botts, 64, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Monday, August2nd, at Monroe County Medical Center. Teresa was born in Tompkinsville, KY on January 15, 1957, a daughter of the late Ina Jewell (Copas) and Orville Riley. Teresa retired from South Central Bank where she was a bank teller for many years. She is survived by her companion, Roger Sprowl, of Red Boiling Springs, TN;a daughter, Charity Stoops (Adam Rouse), of Tompkinsville, KY; and a son, Shannon Botts (Annie), of Tompkinsville, KY; six grandchildren, Shelby, Dalen, Kesler, Carter, Sydney and Madeline-Kate; one brother, Jackie Riley of Oak Grove, KY; one sister, Niko Capps, of Tompkinsville, KY; and two sister-in-laws, Geneva Welch and Anita Riley, both of Tompkinsville, KY and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are Roger’s family that she thought a lot of; his mother,Virginia Sprowl; and daughter, Nikki Sprowl Stamm (Brian). She is preceded in death by four brothers, Robert K.”Bobby” Riley, Loyce Earl Welch, Danny Joe Riley, Jason Bruce Riley, and one sister, Sue Carter. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Visitation is Thursday night from 4-8 PM, andFriday morning after 8 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
