Bill Jaggers, age 95 of Sweeden, departed this life on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. The Edmonson County native was born on February 13, 1926 to the late Johnny B. and Dellie Young Jaggers. He was married to Chestine Meredith Jaggers, who also preceded him in death.
Bill worked in construction and retired from Scotty’s Contracting. He was a member of Kyrock United Baptist Church.
He leaves to honor his memory– one son, Bennie Jaggers (Katie) of Sweeden; four grandchildren, Joey Saling (Patsy), Jimmy Saling, Eric Jaggers (Gena) and Julie Harp; three great-grandchildren, Derrick Jaggers, Tera Bryant (Travis) and Bryan Saling and three great-great grandchildren, Joey Bryant, Haylli Saling and Bailey Saling. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Marilyn Jaggers and five brothers, Wendell, John Dale, Lloyd, Willie Floyd and Claude Dale Jaggers.
