Mary Elizabeth Shirley age 52 of Brownsville passed away Tuesday evening at the Hospice House in Bowling Green. She was the daughter of the late Charles Ward and Rose Christine Hays Merker. Mary was a member of the Concord Baptist Church and she was employed at Minit Mart in Brownsville.
Mary was such a positive person and she had such a good attitude through-out her battle with cancer.
Mary is survived by her daughters Autumn Rayne Cassandra Shirley and Amber Dawn Crystal Shirley both of Brownsville; the father of her daughters Kevin Shirley
One brother-Charles Anthony “Tony” Ward of Louisiana
One sister-Patricia Gail Srygler of Bonnieville
Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Shirley will be 1pm Saturday, July 24th at the Concord Baptist Church with Bro. Adam Jenkins and Bro. Rocky Morrison officiating. Burial will be in the Concord Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10am-8pm at the Sego Funeral Home and will continue after 10am Saturday at the Concord Baptist Church until time for services at 1pm.
