Edna Lucas Taylor, age 65, of Chalybeate, departed this life on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. The Salinas, CA native was born on October 27, 1955 to the late Grover Lucas, Sr. and Mildred Pollock Schmidt and was married to Ron Taylor, who survives.
Edna was owner of Taylor Concrete Cutting Service, and was a member of Brownsville Missionary Baptist Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves to honor her memory– one daughter, Storie Chastain (Cody) of Alvaton; three grandchildren, Ariel Taylor, Melody Quast and Bryson Chastain; brother, Grover Lucas, Jr. (Marilyn) of Brownsville; stepmother, Dorris Lucas, along with several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Paulette French.
Interment will be in Sweeden Church Cemetery.
