Michael D. Johnson, age 69, of Sweeden, departed this life on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Hospice House in Bowling Green. The Edmonson County native was born on February 15, 1952 to the late John Henry and Peggy C. Johnson, who survives.
Michael was a truck driver and a member of Sweeden Missionary Baptist Church.
Besides his mother, he leaves to honor his memory– one son, Derek Johnson (Betsy Raines) of Scottsville; two grandchildren, Cameron Raines and Alex Johnson; four siblings, Margaret Houchin (David), Elbert Johnson (Mollie), Delbert Johnson (Kim) and Tony Johnson (Sheila); former wife, Jackie Johnson and her sister, Debbie Allen (Paul); several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Johnson.
Interment will be in Sweeden Church Cemetery.
