Paul Lee Rainwater, 78, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020 at his residence. The Cincinnati, OH native was an over the road truck driver, employee of Handi-Port in Nancy, KY and attended Philadelphia Church of God. He was the son of the late Oscar Velber Rainwater and Alma Ruby Tarter Rainwater.
He is survived by his wife: Peggy J. Rainwater, Scottsville, KY;
2 daughters: Paige Evans and Shelly Stone;
3 step sons: Daniel Lee Allen; Chris Allen and wife, Sandi and Garry W. Lawson, Jr. and wife, Pam;
2 step daughters: Michelle Foy and husband, Roger and Angela Brothers and husband, Tony;
2 sisters: Regina Rainwater Wilson and Virginia Wilson Hollen;
22 grandchildren: Chris Rainwater (Allison), Daniel Rainwater (Joy), Steven Rainwater, Shawn Rainwater, Leah Stone, Robyn Stone, Bobby Stone, Devin Mahoney, Brandon Evans (Jenny), Brooke Forbes, Courtney Freeman, Andrew Brothers, Will Johnstone, Julia Johnstone, Dawn Brown (Ben), Mary Grace Allen, Abigail Allen, Danielle Allen, Morgan Allen, Rebecca Allen, Garry Lawson III and Carly Lawson;
12 great grandchildren: Layla, Drew, Madelyn, Jacob, Brianna, Beau, Dawson, Wyatt, Harper, Gideon, Isreal and Wyatt F.
He was preceded in death by 2 sons: Steven Paul Rainwater and Dustin Scott Rainwater and 2 brothers-in-law: Robert Hollen and Hobert Dwayne Wilson.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
