A Scottsville man has been charged with two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment after allegedly providing alcohol to minors.

Jamie D. Wagner, 35, of Scottsville was arrested by Glasgow police officer Matthew Rishkofski early Monday after officers responded to a disturbance at Speedway gas station at the corner of Grandview Avenue and S. L. Rogers Wells Blvd. A woman there was trying to fight people, according to a police department press release.

Officers determined that Wagner had purchased alcohol for some juveniles and allowed one of them to drive his vehicle after drinking the alcohol, the release stated. Wagner was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, a Class D felony. He was also charged with two misdemeanors — third-degree unlawful transaction with a minor and possession of open alcohol beverage container in motor vehicle prohibited.

Wagner had an initial court appearance Monday, April 27, with a $5,000 bond, according to the Barren County Detention Center website.
