Glendale Wood, 73, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Tuesday, August 11th, at Signature Health Care of Monroe County.
Glendale was born in Tompkinsville, KY on April 4, 1953, a son of the late Irene (Guffey) and Reed Wood.
He worked at Beldon Wiring from their opening until their closure, dedicating 26 years of his life to his work there.
Glendale is also survived by a brother, Veachel Wood, of Tompkinsville, KY; sister-in-law, Wanda Wood, of Tompkinsville, KY; several nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Ray Wood and Anthus Wood, and one sister, Adele Thompson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 16th, at Yokley Trible Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Beechgrove Cemetery. Bro. Tim Eaton will officiate the service.
Visitation is 4:30-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, and 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:30 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
