Katie Opal Zwilling, 97, of Louisville passed away Saturday.
Katie was a native of Rockcastle County and retired from G.E. and Burlington Coat Factory. She was a member of Kenwood Church of Christ and the oldest member of the Kentucky Chapter of the Daughters of American Revolution.
Katie is survived by 4 children, including Wendy Diener of Scottsville; 10 grandchildren, including Daniel Capps (Victoria), and Patrick Diener, both of Glasgow; 17 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral for Katie Zwilling will be Friday at 10:30 a.ma Eastern time at Owen Funeral Home at 5317 Dixie Highway in Louisville with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday.
