Barbara Ogden, age 85, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026. She lived for many years in Horse Cave and was an LPN at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. In recent years, Barbara enjoyed getting together with the Caveland Jazy Girls Red Hatters. She loved her family and getting visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a current member of the Bowling Green Cumberland Presbyterian Church and former member and piano player for Uno Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lee Ogden; her parents, Alexander “Jack” Smith and Lucille Smith of Cave City.
She is survived by two daughters, LoriAnn Martin (Daniel) and Kathy Johnson (Mike); four grandchildren, Kenneth Martin (Niedja), Andrea Jones (Justin), Emily Cole (Dylan) and Alexander Martin (Bryanna); Brother-in-law Carl Ogden (Doris), Sister-in-law Shirley Ogden, six great grandchildren Addyson Jones, Jack Jones, Blakely Cole, MacKenna Martin, Camden Cole, Maisie Martin and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Winn Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Winn Funeral Home, from 4:00PM to 7:00PM, and will continue after 9:00AM on Tuesday, until the time of the service at 11:00AM.
