Keith Foster Maxey, 64, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 10th, at Norton Health Care in Louisville, KY.
Keith was born in Tompkinsville, KY on January 23, 1962, a son of the late Anna Lee (Howard) and Ben Keith Maxey. He was a member of the Church of the First Born Saints in Tompkinsville. Throughout his career, he worked at Amak and Anderson Forest Products. Keith was known for his warm smile and friendly nature.
Keith is survived by his wife, Tammy Bernard Maxey, of Russell Springs, KY; four daughters, Jaleesa Hawkins, of Bowling Green, KY; Kristen Matthews, of Celina, TN; Allysea Fenton, of Red Boiling Springs, TN and Brooklyn Maxey, of Tompkinsville, KY; step daughters, Latisha Foley and Brittany Foley; step son, Jordan Foley; grandchildren, SaMya Williams, Rowan Maxey, Tokyo Roddy, Naomi Meador, Jarek Meador and Rome Fenton; step grandchildren, Ashton and Lyndon Roddy, Gabriel Foley, Adrianna Foley and Cash Foley; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Juanita Tooley, a brother, Kenneth Howard; brother-in-law, Truman Tooley and sister-in-law, Elmar T. Howard.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 16th at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026 at Yokley Trible Funeral Home, and Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Keith’s memory may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
