Cherry Lee White Hatcher, 93, of Bowling Green, KY, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Hospice House. The Richardsville, KY native was born September 29, 1932, to the late Murray Morris White and Alma Ilene Cherry White. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Carlton Hatcher. They were married on June 8, 1950.

Cherry Lee was an exceptional role model as a minister’s wife. She worked by her husband’s side in each of the many CPC they served. Her genuine happiness came from doing whatever the Lord led her to do. She always cheerfully participated in the ladies’ group of the church (CPW). The group helped church families and the local community. You could easily spot her at the annual ice cream supper and cookouts. If you knew Cherry Lee, then you would understand why she was a wonderful southern cook. Her kitchen was her special place; family gatherings will never be the same without her yummy dishes, joyful spirit, and infectious laugh. Surviving her are her two nieces, whom she loved as daughters: Amy Leachman Curtis (Dan), and Larissa White Priddy (Dennis); brother, Dickie White (Carolyn); two grandchildren whom she loved and adored, Isabella and Charlie Curtis, and several nieces and nephews.

Her family will accept visitors on Monday, April 27th, from 4–8 PM and Tuesday, April 28th, from 9 AM–12 PM, with a service at 12 PM, all at Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Interment at Fairview Cemetery will follow the service on Tuesday. Services are entrusted to J.C. Kirby & Son, Lovers Lane Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CPW Ministry Johnie Massey Clay Circle, Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Hatcher-Smith Church Office, Cumberland Presbyterian Church and/or Hospice of Southern Kentucky. Envelopes will be provided at the church.
