Laura Moyer Rowe, age 67, of Cave City, departed this life on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Barren County Nursing and Rehab. The California native was born on December 31, 1958 to the late Raymond Moyer and the late Loraine and Del Salisbury.
Laura’s life was marked by a quiet strength and a deep commitment to caring for others. While living in California, she worked as a receptionist at Beale Air Force Base, where her friendly presence and welcoming spirit left a lasting impression on those she encountered. She then continued her calling in a more hands-on way, dedicating many years as a certified nursing assistant. In this role, she brought comfort, compassion, and dignity to those who needed it most, forming meaningful connections with the people in her care. Outside of her work, she found joy in life’s simple, creative moments—whether sewing something by hand, carefully crafting diamond art, or unwinding with a game of cards or a round of pool on her phone. Above all else, Laura’s greatest love was her family and friends, who were truly the center of her world.
She leaves to honor her memory— her children, Jeff Rowe, Kenny Rowe and Amanda Rowe, all of Cave City and Barry Christopher Rowe of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Maddison, Charles, Dewey and Denise; great-grandchild, Kingston; siblings, Audrey Haven, Cherie Sandifer, Wes Moyer and Greg Salisbury, along with several nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 25. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at Patton Funeral Home Park City Chapel.
