Bonnie Jo Ballard, 73, of Cave City, passed peacefully from this life on Friday, April 17, 2026, at The Medical Center Bowling Green after a lengthy illness.
Bonnie was born in Knob Lick, Ky to George Wilton Ballard and Bertha Alice Ballard. She loved her family fiercely and was always ready to help whenever and wherever she could. She was an avid reader and loved a good game of bingo.
Besides her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by her beloved son, Kelly “Wayne” Ballard, brothers Wayne, Jerry, Roger, and Billy Ballard, and a sister, Loretta Ballard.
Bonnie leaves to honor her memory three grandchildren, Caeley Ballard, Zachary Ballard, and Aynzley Ballard all of Cave City, three sisters Alice Medley of Glasgow, Connie Pulliam of Edmonton, and Jeanette Sexton (Jeff) of Goodlettsville, TN, one brother, Junior Ballard of Edmonton, a special niece Tiffany Armstrong of Temple Hill, her daughter-in-law, Jennifer Ballard of Cave City and a whole host of nieces and nephews who all loved Bonnie just as much as she loved them.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM Noon on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Winn Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 01:00 PM to 08:00 PM, and will continue on Wednesday from 09:00 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 PM Noon.
